Japan

So, I haven't updated this in ages . . .
I've been busy with other things, which also means I haven't done much in the way of art. Hopefully that will change soon, but seeing as I will be spending the next school year studying abroad in Japan, there probably won't be a ton of action around here. I'll continue to draw when I have time, and I'll post what I can. I'm thinking that I'll probably just photograph any artwork I do that I want to post, until I'm back home and can use my scanner again.
All that being said, I probably won't be available to take commissions for a while, although if anyone is interested you may still contact me, depending on my situation I might be able to get something done ^_^

Later then,
~Lizzard

Happy New Year! Funny how college makes staying up past midnight not much of an accomplishment . . . although being at home has me back on a go-to-bed-early schedule. I guess it's just because I feel kind of weird being up while every one else is asleep. Although, they're all asleep now and I'm on the computer . . .

I'm working on a painting now though (well, I was before I succumbed to the call of the internet) so I guess I'll work on it a bit longer. I suspect it will end up with more detail than is really necessary XD

peace out,

Devious Journal Entry

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 26, 2006, 11:25 AM
  • Mood: Christmas Spirited
  • Listening to: The Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack
  • Reading: Ummm, nothing really.
  • Watching: Some anime, or Fawlty Towers.
  • Playing: I wish I had a computer game to play :(
  • Eating: cookies or chocolate, most likely.
Merry Christmas! Yay!

I got a digitalo camera for Christmas, so now I will have no reason to paint things larger than my scanner! :D Happy . . .

I am also starting to work on my costume- I'm going to an anime convention in the spring, so I'm cosplaying as Byakuya from Bleach ^_^ Part of it should be done this week, hopefully, but it depends when I buy material and start sewing it . . . I'll post pictures whenever that happens.

And since I have discovered that I have expensive hobbies (like art . . . and foreign music.) I will be offering commission soon, in the chance that I can make some money that way.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. And have a good new year too :D

Update.

So I survived Thanksgiving :D It was nice, but way too short. And I have way too much work to do. Yea verily yea. I hope I don't get sick.

Also, I am fundamentally, morally opposed to writing essays. Blah.

I've been working on a painting, but it probably won't show up here for a while, due to my aforementioned lack of time. I'll still be on DA a lot though . . . ah procrastination. It's an art form in itself XD

Peace out,
~~~~~~~~Lizzard
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So . . .
I've been thinking about selling my artwork, either as prints or commissions. I think doing commissions would be more practical for me, since I have no access to a print shop at this point (unless I sign up for a print account on DA, which I'm considering but probably won't do).
I don't expect to make a lot of money or anything, but it would be nice to have another source of income. :shrug:
So, does anyone think this is a reasonable idea? (basically, do you think anyone would buy anything?) Prints or commissions? (or both?) Any thoughts on what would be a reasonable price?
I have some ideas, but I want a few opinions before I decide on anything :)
Thanks guys ^_^
